Ports and Marinas

Adriatic Croatia International Club (ACI) was founded in 1983. The ACI Club runs the largest chain of Marinas not only in Croatia, but all over the Mediterranean. Along the Croatian costal from Umag in the north to Dubrovnik in the south there are in total 21 marinas. All of them are well equipped and up-to-date, offering facilities as reception, restaurant, laundry, repair shop, grocery, service, nautical stores etc.

There are as well many private Marinas scattered along the Croatian Adriatic, mostly well equipped and providing equivalent facilities to the ACI Clubs, including refueling facilities, maintains, restaurants, sanitary and several shops. These Marinas are continuously improving their services to meet the needs and wishes of their guests. Beside the Marinas, there are as well hundreds of harbors and small ports where docking is possible.

The harbors and small ports along the coastal are mostly well equipped and wind protected. Every coastal place has its own small port by the seafront promenade where safe anchorage is possible among facilities like bars and restaurants, gas stations, shops etc. It is as well possible to anchor in one of the many sheltered bays, but how ever, a port is always the safer choice and more comfortable as for water connection, electricity, sanitary facilities, constant monitoring and expert advice of the port staff.

CENTRAL DALMATIA
This region comprises wider Split area (Dalmatinska Zagora) and the islands in the Split archipelago.
Due to rich and exciting history, Middle Dalmatia is particularly diverse – the influence of Turkish conquests can be seen in the inland (centuries old game Alka in Sinj), and Mediterranen influences are recognizable in architecture, speech, diet and all other aspects of lifestyle on the islands.

– The city of Split, economical, cultural and administrative centre of the region; the city evolved from the palace of the Roman emperor Diocletian, and the remains of the Palace are protected by UNESCO as one of the best preserved Roman architectural structures in the world

– Trogir, a town near Split, connected to the island Čiovo by bridge; its entire old core is protected by UNESCO and it is know as the “town-museum”

– Salona, remains of the Antique town, which had been a capital of the Roman province Dalmatia before it was destroyed; today it’s an exceptionally valuable archaeological site

– The islands of Brač (the highest Croatian island), Hvar, Vis and others. They are all attractive tourist destinations due to nice beaches, leisure time offer, summer fiestas and fine wines

We listed below some ACI Club marinas and private Marinas in our region;

ACI Marina – Trogir (Position: 43°30,8’N 16°15.2’E)
This marina is located on the small island of Čiovo, in a narrow channel that separates the island from the old town of Trogir (which is also located on an island). One of the major advantages of this marina is its location in the vicinity of the centre of Trogir, which is abundant with historical monuments and which old town is protected by UNESCO. Except for historical monuments, the town is also known for its rich cultural and entertainment offer, especially in the summer.
Marina is well protected from all winds, and there are many useful services at your disposal – sanitary facilities, hotel, restaurant, coffee bar, parking lot, shops…

Marina ZIRONA – Island of Drvenik Veli (Position: 43°27.00′ N 16°08.90′ E)
Lies on the island of Drvenik Veli, 4 NM westward from Trogir. Marina is currently under construction.
Berth: The marina will have 140 berths up to 25m boat length.
Facilities: Berthing is available free of charge through low season period with no services available. Some of the services are available in the nearby village (restaurant, market, telephone…).  

Marina Kaštela (Position: 43°32.7′N, 16°24.12′E)
Marina Kaštela is a large modern marina in the central Adriatic that can provide accommodation to all sizes of boats, including megayachts. The region is renowned for its great climate, and the many islands that are scattered along this part of the Dalmatian coast are easily accessible from the marina.

Marina Agana (Position: 43°30.8′N, 16°07.0′E)
Marina Agana offers a warm welcome to yachts of all sizes from its sheltered location between Split and Šibenik. The modern facilities at the harbour include a comprehensive range of technical repair services. A short stroll away, the town is home to many excellent local restaurants.

ACI Marina Split (Position: 43°30.10′N, 16°26.0′E)
ACI Marina Split is a large and well equipped marina in the centre of Split, cultural and economical capital of Dalmatia. Thanks to the excellent location in the centre of town, it is an attractive berthing place for tourists visiting Split. And due to a favourable location of Split in Middle Dalmatia, it is a popular starting marina for charter tourists.
She is well protected and easily accessible, set near the bus and train stations, on the foothill of Marjan. There are sanitary facilities, various shops, services, parking lot, restaurant, snack bar and other amenities at your disposal.

Marina Lav (Position: 43°29’30”N 16°32’11”E)
Located in Podstrana near Split, in the heart of this beautiful stretch of coastline, Marina Lav is an outstanding nautical facility that provides yachts of up to 30m with high quality services fit for VIPs. A comprehensive range of amenities will ensure your comfort and convenience during your stopover.

Marina Baska Voda (Position: 43°21,2´ N 16°57,2´ E)
The marina Baska Voda is easily accessible from the city of Split, and welcomes yachts of all sizes to the picturesque surroundings of its harbour. Handily situated in the centre of the town, the marina’s crystalline turquoise waters are an idyllic place to drop anchor on a yacht charter holiday in Dalmatia.

Marina Podgora  (Position: 43°15.00′ N 17°05.00′ E)

ACI Marina Milna (Position: 43°19.61′N, 16°27.02′E)
This marina is located in the town Milna on the island of Brač and it is the only marina on the island. It is located on the western side of the island, just across from island Šolta, near the island Hvar, which is a suitable resting stop when sailing through Middle Dalmatian islands. It is easily reachable and well protected from all winds.
You’ll find all necessary services and facilities in the town, and in the marina there are, among others, restaurant, coffee bar, showers and toilettes…

ACI Marina Palmižana (Position: 43˚9’44,64″N, 16˚23’44,16 “E)
This marina is located on the islet of Sv. Klement, the largest of the archipelago Pakleni Islands. It is 2.4 nautical miles away from the town of Hvar. These densely wooded islets are practically uninhabited, so enjoy the „isolation“, uninterrupted peace and preserved nature.
On the other hand, only a short sail away is the town Hvar, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Croatia and an entertainment hot spot.
Marina is open April – October and includes all basic necessary facilities – showers and toilettes, restaurant, coffee bar, shop.

ACI Marina Vrboska (Position: 43°10.80′N, 16°41.00′E)
Located in the Adriatic on the north coast of the island of Hvar, this marina is situated at the end of a long and narrow sea inlet. With a wide range of services, it is a nice stop on a yacht charter holiday on the Dalmation Coast. In addition to the harbour facilities, the quaint town has plenty of amenities.

Marina Vodice – Vodice (Position: 43°45’2”N;15°47’0”E)
ACI marina Vodice lies in the northeastern part of Vodice harbor (Vrulje cove) and is protected by two breakwaters. It is open all year round and it offers 290 berths and 60 boat places on land. Berths have water and power supply.

Marina Hramina – Island of Murter (Position: 43°49.00′ N 15°36.00′ E)
Marina Hramina on the island of Murter in Croatia is a harbor for boats and yachts with 400 wet and 250 dry berths all year round. It lies in Hramina Cove.

Marina Mandalina – Šibenik (Position: 43°43.0′ N-15°54.3′ E)
It is located in the city of Sibenik on the beautiful Dalmatian coast of Croatia. It is known to be one of the safest berthing places due its naturally protected location.
