Trogir is a town-museum in the very meaning of the word. The historic centre of Trogir is situated on a small island between the mainland and the island of Ciovo. It lies 25 kilometers west of the city of Split. Due to the historic meaning of the town’s core in 1997, the historic centre of Trogir has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. Split is busy and big but it remains one of the Adriatic’s most fascinating ports with a long and eventful history. Split offers a wealth of museums and Roman ruins under a dramatic mountain backdrop that opens onto a vast expanse of sea. You can reach both towns by road, air and sea. The towns are placed just next to the Adriatic highway. The international Split airport is only 6 km away from Trogir and 18km from Split. Central position of Trogir and Split and easy access the most popular islands (Hvar, Brac, Solta, Vis, etc.) makes our base an excellent starting point for your boating adventures in Croatia.

As Argola Charter is a Trogir based company, we have focused on picking the best charter bases in Dalmatia. Our main criteria have been proximity to the airport, facilities and, last but not least, easy access to beautiful Dalmatian islands. Based on these criteria we selected Trogir and Split as our main charter bases in Croatia. These towns are very famous tourist towns fairly close to the mentioned airport. Due its central position at the Adriatic coast we do also services like boat deliveries up to Zadar to the West and down to the Makarska to the east.
